Proyecto Monumento a la Cultura Chinchorro Project Monument to the Chinchorro Culture   El diseño de la obra se llevará a cabo previa investigación de las momias Chinchorro, buscando  realizar una réplica que represente a esta gran cultura, que sea impactante por su contenido emotivo e histórico. Para este efecto se contará con la participación de un profesional asesor especialista en Momias Chinchorros, quién en conjunto con el equipo de trabajo determinaran el modelo a replicar.   The design of the work will carry out previous investigation of the Chinchorro mummies, seeking to realize a replica that represents to this great culture, Which has to be powerful because of its emotive and historical content, For this effect a professional adviser specialist in Chinchorro Mummies will take part of the project, who with the team of work will determine the model to reproducing.   La escultura será instalada en el sector de Playa Chinchorro, este lugar es elegido por su connotación histórica, social y comercial, los cuales son componentes básicos para la creación de un nuevo hito de atracción turística y patrimonial que le permitirían ser reconocida e incorporada al que hacer social y cultural de la ciudad.     The sculpture will be installed in the Chinchorro beach area, this place is chosen by its historical, social and commercial connotation, these components will allow the creation of a new patrimonial product and of tourist attraction that will be recognized and incorporated into the day-to-day work of the city.             En este sector además la Municipalidad de Arica tiene proyectado construir un paseo temático en homenaje al patrimonio cultural y natural de la ciudad y nueva región, especialmente respecto a las Momias Chinchorro con el fin de que estas sean reconocidas como patrimonio cultural de la humanidad. Por lo que en el futuro esta escultura se complementaría y consolidaría como atractivo turístico y patrimonial asegurando además su mantención y conservación   Besides, Arica's Municipality has projected a thematic walk in honoring to the cultural and natural patrimony of the city, specially to the Chinchorro Mummies that are  postulated as cultural patrimony of the humanity. For what in the future this sculpture would complement and would consolidate itself as tourist patrimonial attraction assuring its maintenancing and conservation.   Para una mayor conectividad entre los visitantes y la escultura, se instalará señalética adecuada con información sobre las Momias Chinchorro, esta información se encontrará en español, inglés y francés, en primera instancia no descartando la posibilidad de otro idioma.   In order to improve the connection between the visitors and the sculpture, notices and signs will be installed with information about the Chinchorro Mummies, this information will be in Spanish and English, in first instance but not rejecting the possibility of another language.   Se estima que la escultura tendrá una dimensión de 4.50 Mts. de elevación 2.00 Mts. Frente y 1.30 Mts. de fondo.   The preliminary dimensions of the sculpture will be of 13 ft. of high, 6,.5 ft. of width and 3,3 ft. of length.
